Dean Xiang contributed by outlining global trends in the sector, as well as putting in perspective the role of the Chinese economy today—a major global industrial powerhouse, as well as the strategic economic partner of Russia.
This session, entitled “Global Strategies”, was meant to align the industrial achievements and potential of the Russian industry with the current trends and challenges of the global economy and business environment. The panel of experts discussed key development strategies available, explained major global risks of the sector, and how to hedge in the events of economic slowdown and crisis.
Innoprom is an International industrial exhibition held every year at Ekaterinburg, in Russia. It showcases some of the latest technological achievements for industrial use, and is considered the most important of the kind in Russia. This year participants included the Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, and key companies such as Siemens, Sberbank, VSMPO-AVISMA and Rosneft.
