    Program Overview

    The Global Unicorn Program in New Energy and the Disruption of Traditional Industries – presented jointly by CKGSB and University of Sydney – will emphasize Australia’s distinctive contributions, centering on:

    • Addressing global challenges in energy, sustainability, climate change and healthcare;
    • The digital transformation of traditional sectors like mining, agriculture, and services through the utilization of AI and technological advancements, incorporating principles of the circular economy;
    • Scaling up opportunities that involve establishing global partnerships and networks beyond the comparatively limited local market, particularly by capitalizing on the expanding opportunities within the RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) area.

    As part of the Unicorn program collaboration, we will jointly publish a thought leadership report titled Australia and RCEP Supply Chain Integrations. This report will be launched at the Program Forum, co-organized by The University of Sydney and CKGSB, on February 11, 2025. The report will explore the ways in which changing global dynamics are reshaping supply chains across Asia and the strategies companies are employing to diversify and better engage with the broader Asian market.
