In October 2025, CKGSB hosted 36 entrepreneurs from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), who gathered under the theme “Bridging the Globe — Think Big. Be Bold,” in Shenzhen, China.
Spanning from October 29 to 31, the program immersed participants from the United States, Canada, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Latin America, and Africa in China’s dynamic innovation ecosystem. Through a rich mix of lectures, company visits, and engaging dialogues, attendees gained firsthand insights into frontier technologies, shifting geopolitical landscapes, and emerging business paradigms shaping the future of global growth.
Academic sessions featured prominent CKGSB faculty, including Dean Xiang Bing who presented “Geopolitical Fluency in Global Growth: Trends for Future Global Businesses,” Dean Li Haitao with “AI in Strategy and Leadership,” Professor Li Wei’s “Survive and Thrive in a Turbulent Time,” and Professor Zhu Rui’s “ESG, Social Responsibility, and Business for Good.”
A highlight of the event was a visit to AutoFlight, a pioneering Chinese air mobility company. EO members experienced cutting-edge aerial logistics and sustainable air mobility solutions reshaping global transportation. The visit culminated with a debrief led by CKGSB’s academic director and EO faculty, connecting real-world innovation with academic insights.
The program also featured compelling case discussions with industry leaders: Chuan Kok Tan, former CEO of Munchy’s and Chief Exploration Officer of Koobi, shared “The Going-Global Journey of Munchy’s: Expanding in Asia and Entering China,” while Mr. Haiquan Wang, Co-founder of BYD, presented “From Battery Maker to Global EV Giant and the BYD Ecosystem.”
“The program was completely beyond my expectations! I left totally inspired with my new learnings through the well-curated content and lineup of very experienced lecturers and speakers who both had field experience and the macro global perspective,” reflected Evangeline Leong, Member of EO, Singapore.
This collaboration with CKGSB, EO reaffirmed the school’s pivotal role as a bridge between East and West—cultivating globally-minded entrepreneurs who will shape the future of business and society. This event was far more than a gathering of founders; it was a catalyst for innovation and global collaboration.
