Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and Australia’s Victorian Government have formally announced a collaboration aimed at enhancing ties and a deeper understanding between Chinese and Australian businesses. The partnership, which kicked off with a joint workshop and panel event in Beijing, will consist of collaboration on events and executive education programs to address business opportunities and challenges of interest to Chinese and Australian executives.
Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) and Australia’s Victorian Government have formally announced a collaboration aimed at enhancing ties and a deeper understanding between Chinese and Australian businesses.
The partnership will consist of collaboration on events and executive education programs to address business opportunities and challenges of interest to Chinese and Australian executives. The partnership kicked off with a first joint event—the China-Australia Workshop—that was held on April 16 at CKGSB’s Beijing Campus. The workshop featured an all-female delegation of 15 Australian entrepreneurs from Victoria, in addition to Chinese executives, who make up CKGSB’s elite alumni network in the country.

CKGSB Associate Dean and Professor of Strategic Management Teng Bingsheng, who delivered a keynote speech at the April 16 workshop, applauded the collaboration. “We are delighted and honored to work with Australia’s Victorian Government, because our cooperation will facilitate ties and understanding between Chinese and Australian businesses, which will, in turn, strengthen mutually beneficial business and trade relations between the two countries,” Professor Teng said. “This collaboration will offer fantastic opportunities. As the leading business school in China, our alumni are not only able to invest in Victoria in the future, but also take advantage of all that Victoria has to offer.”
