OurCrowd, a leading global investment platform and Israel’s most active venture investor, announced today the signing of a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) Chuang Community, an entrepreneurship ecosystem at China’s biggest independent business school, to develop a global innovation ecosystem and strengthen the bond between the Israeli and Chinese tech communities.

CKGSB recent visit to South Korea was reported by the highly respected business media, Chosun Biz. Twenty-six executives from China’s top companies visited South Korea’s creative and cultural industries, visiting companies, meeting with other executives and exchanging ideas for bi-lateral cooperation.

Well-renowned Professor Young-nam Cho of Seoul National University Graduate School of International Studies gave a lecture on “China’s National Development Strategy in the Xi Jinping Administration” to a group of South Korean business students who are participants of the China-Korea EMBA Program. The second in a series of monthly lectures held in Seoul. The China-Korea EMBA Program is a joint cooperation with CKGSB and the Seoul Business School (aSSIST), based on each institution’s strength in business education and ability to provide analysis of current business conditions through academic research.

Korean media have been paying significant attention to the latest economic downturn in the Chinese economy. Local business newspapers and online media, such as Financial News, Choice News and Acrofan, have quoted the CKGSB Business Conditions Index (BCI) in their reports about the economic slowdown in China. The expertise of CKGSB and the BCI was highlighted by coverage using the index to explain the economic conditions in China.
