Global Marketing and Communications – Internship

Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, a leading business from China, is offering students who are interested in pursuing a career in marketing and communications, the chance to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment here in Beijing. We are looking for a highly qualified, motivated and enthusiastic intern to complete an internship at CKGSB’s Global Marketing and Communications department, where you will learn what it is like to brand and market a Chinese business school globally. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural team and should have a good understanding of China and global markets. You will have the chance to learn about digital marketing, content marketing, marketing strategies, brand messaging and much more.

Internship Description:

  • Translate articles, such as faculty’s op-ed pieces, from Chinese into English
  • Draft content for CKGSB’s English website, news articles, etc.
  • Create posts for CKGSB’s official LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts
  • Draft and update the school’s English-language marketing materials, such as the introduction, factsheet and PPT
  • If video skills apply, film and edit short interviews with CKGSB faculty, students and alumni to be then posted on our website and social media channels
  • Support the team’s execution of online and offline events that help raise awareness and profile of the school, including drafting invitation letters for speakers and attendees, creating the event’s announcement for the school’s website, and creating a post-event report  
  • Identify external conferences and forums at which CKGSB can participate (as a partner or with faculty speakers)
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks (e.g. update contact list, photo database and media coverage)

Qualifications:

  • Strong command of English and Chinese
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in relevant fields, such as marketing, journalism, videography, etc.)
  • Strong writer and communicator
  • Filming and video editing skills are a plus
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
