The Global Unicorn Program in Deep Tech – a new executive education program presented jointly by CKGSB and ESMT Berlin – is uniquely designed to help business leaders in Asia and Europe who are at the forefront of deep tech innovation grasp the challenges and opportunities presented by advancements in the sector.
The program will provide practical business strategies to grow, scale, globalize, and potentially exit deep tech ventures and will touch upon the latest insights on deep tech advancements, such as AI, cutting-edge computing, and cybersecurity innovation. The Global Unicorn Program in Deep Tech is tailored for global leaders (founders, investors, corporate executives and government officials) who aspire to embrace cutting-edge technologies to make positive, lasting impacts on society and the planet.
During the 4 days, you’ll engage in activities including case studies, forum, expert talks, networking opportunities, and exclusive company visits. Featuring a combination of world-class faculties from Asia, Europe and beyond, this unique program is crucial for business leaders like you to navigate complexity, drive innovation, and seize opportunities in an increasingly digital and technology-driven world.

Moreover, the program brings light to the German Hidden Champions- medium-sized companies that hold a leading international market position and are not well known to the general public despite their success. This includes understanding how Hidden Champions can flourish in ecosystems by forging partnerships with startups and large corporations.

Established in Beijing in November 2002, CKGSB is China’s first privately-funded, research-intensive and non-for-profit business school. CKGSB is the first business school, since 2015, to offer programs specifically designed for unicorn and soon-to-be-unicorn founders. It aims to build a global ecosystem for the next generation of unicorn and soon-to-be-unicorn companies, with a renewed and enhanced emphasis on global responsibility, social purpose and long-term perspective. Thus far, this ecosystem has developed 1,188 founders and co-founders of companies with Series A to more mature start-up companies, including 151 unicorns among which 41 listed on CB Insights (2017-2022).
