Marc Sasserath is Professor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship with a focus on entrepreneurial branding and cultural transformation and is lecturing in Paris and in Berlin. Prof. Sasserath is Founder & CEO of Sasserath Munzinger Plus Berlin/Milano, a brand consultancy that works with leading and ambitious brands and Founder & Chairman SK+ Sasserath Kienbaum Plus, London/San Francisco – a culture of innovation firm. In 2016/17 he served as Executive Chairman, UDG United Digital Group, one of the leading brand tech businesses.
From 2001-2007 he was CEO & Partner Publicis Sasserath and CSO Publicis Groupe Germany, helping the agency to win clients like Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Bahn, HASPA etc whilst being as Handelsblatt put it: one of Germany‘s leading brand consultancies. Since 2016, Marc Sasserath is Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe. He contributed to the development of the entrepreneurship education at ESCP Europe by co-founding U-School, EMDIEL and helping ESCP Europe to be a valuable member of the Berlin ecosystem. Marc Sasserath is currently also a Lecturer at Miami Adschool Europe following assignments at Humboldt-Viadrina School of Governance, Berlin, International School of Management, Dortmund and WAK Köln/Universität zu Köln, Germany.
Prof. Sasserath is a senior advisor to owners and CEO’s of a number of companies and organizations. In Berlin he is an active member of the startup ecosystems contributing to the development of a number of tech accelerators and innovation centers such Axel Springer Plug and Play, Deutsche Telekom’s hubr:aum and Hermann’s – member of the Bahlsen family. He is member of the supervisory board of vocatus AG, Munich and
Co-Founder of Unternehmerklub Berlin and Account Planning Group Germany.
Prof. Sasserath actively supports different social and philantropic activities. He is board member of Betterplace.org and gut.org, board member of TEDxBerlin and member of the assembly of ESCP Europe Berlin.
Marc Sasserath studied business, philosophy, languages and clinical organizational psychology in Germany, France and the UK. He holds an MSc from HEC Paris, the DipCCC (INSEAD & HEC) and Diplom-Betriebswirt.
