Fan Min is one of the co-founders of Trip.com Group, a leading global one-stop travel platform, integrating a comprehensive suite of travel products and services and differentiated travel content. Mr. Fan has been a member of the board of director since October 2006 and has served as the vice chairman of the board of directors since March 2013. Mr. Fan has served as the president since February 2009. He also served as the chief executive officer from January 2006 to February 2013, as our chief operating officer from November 2004 to January 2006, and as the executive vice president from 2000 to November 2004. During his tenure as the chief executive officer, Mr. Fan was named one of the Top 10 Great Leaders Award of the Year on the 2010 APEC China SME Value List, 2008 EY Entrepreneur of the Year and 2007 Best New Economic Figure of the Year. In 2009 and 2016, Fan Min was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of the China Tourism Association.
Prior to co-founding Trip.com Group (formerly known as Ctrip.com International, Ltd.), Mr. Fan was the chief executive officer of Shanghai Travel Service Company, a leading domestic travel agency in China, from 1997 to 2000. From 1990 to 1997, he served as the deputy general manager and in a number of other senior positions at Shanghai New Asia Hotel Management Company, which was one of the leading hotel management companies in China. Mr. Fan has served as an independent director of Leju Holdings Limited (NYSE: LEJU) since 2014. Mr. Fan obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also studied at the Lausanne Hotel Management School of Switzerland in 1995.
