Mr. Chu Q. Wang (Canada) currently serves as the Head of Office (a.i.) at UN Women in China. He oversees the country office and the agency’s strategic partnerships with public and private sector partners.
Prior, he served as a Programme Management Officer at the UN Secretariat, where he forged UN partnerships to catalyze innovation in global operational support. Within the UN, he has also worked at the Executive Office of the Secretary-General on strategic planning and analysis, as well as governance mechanisms. Prior to the UN, Mr. Wang was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised executives worldwide – from ministers to CEOs – on inclusive socioeconomic development and organizational strategy. Moreover, he was an Advisor to the Harvard University Provost Office on advancing student and staff inclusion.
Mr. Wang holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University. He enjoys going to the gym to balance his culinary explorations.
