Caroline Raggett is a member of the firm’s AgFoodTech and Board Practices based in London. She is passionately committed to helping leadership across the world create sustainable, tech-enabled agriculture and food systems that meet the UN Global Compact’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to food, climate, biodiversity and health.
She advises on the appointment of Chairs, independent non-executive directors, CEOs, and other C-suite executives who drive outstanding returns for shareholders. Caroline specialises in working with private equity investors to assess, appoint and develop the best independent directors, advisors and executive leadership for their portfolio companies, as well as family businesses. Her work encompasses critical path projects such as Chairman succession, board effectiveness evaluations, and board build-outs for IPO.
Caroline has significant international experience, including 11 years in Hong Kong with the firm. During this time, she co-led our Asia-Pacific Private Equity practice, and was an active member of the Board practice. As a committed member of Hong Kong’s 30% Club, Caroline’s achievements include substantially improving board diversity on the Hang Seng 50 Index and successfully lobbying for more progressive listing rules in Hong Kong.
Before joining Russell Reynolds in 2004, Caroline worked in executive search and business intelligence.
Caroline earned her MA in Japanese Studies from the University of Cambridge.
