As part of an overview of university-level private education in China, Times Higher Education reporter Carolynne Wheeler looks at the factors that have made CKGSB, China’s first accredited private business school, a success:
“Although its focus is on the business world, last year the school’s academics published 31 articles in international, peer-reviewed journals. ‘We are not a training centre, we are an education institution,’ [Associate Dean Sun Baohong] says, arguing that research is a fundamental component of the staff’s work. ‘We believe good education is the output of good research.'”
