CKGSB Professor of Strategy Cho Dong-Sung has been awarded the Knight, First Class, of the order of the White Rose of Finland in recognition of the various contributions and meritorious service to promote cooperative exchanges between Korea and Finland.

The news was highlighted in both online and print media across Korea, including Chosun Ilbo, one of the country’s most popular newspapers.
Professor Cho received a medal and an autographed certificate from Finnish President, Sauli Niinistö, which was presented by Matti Heimonen, the Finnish Ambassador to Korea, at an award ceremony at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul on December 16.
Dr Cho has been striving to promote exchanges between the two countries by joining diplomatic events in Korea as the representative of Finland. He has held the post of Honorary Consul of Finland from 2004 until now, and received an honorary doctorate from Alto University in 2011.
Professor Cho, a renowned guru in Business Administration, served as Professor of Strategy and International Management, Dean of Graduate School of International Studies and Dean of Business Administration Department at Seoul National University after graduating the university and getting his doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard.
