The CKGSB MBA Alumni Association is calling on all its members to take part in this year’s election process, to help select a council for the next three years. The council’s aim is to enrich extracurricular and networking opportunities for alumni, while also providing a center for communication, career development, business entrepreneurship and business cooperation.
Every three years, the CKGSB MBA Alumni Association holds a re-selection of current officials. The 2015 selection campaign kicked off this year on July 7th. All alumni around the world are invited to participate in this global search for new leadership of the alumni association. For more information about this process and how to participate, please read the following letter from the campaign organizers.
Dear CKGSB MBA Alumni,
Consistent with the educational philosophy of establishing a world-class MBA program for China business, the students, alumni, faculty and program continue to reinforce the integration of teaching and practical experience to build a global, lifelong learning platform, which engenders the nurturing of future generations of business leaders.
The program has achieved further development in 2015. Numerous high-caliber candidates with overseas study and work experience have enrolled in the program. In addition, CKGSB DBA students and business leaders have stepped up to fill the role of CKGSB MBA mentors, providing invaluable advice to the students. The globalization of the school is strengthened by strategic partnerships with the Harvard Kennedy School, USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Moreover, the “Cheung Cheung Community”, recently established by CKGSB, provides alumni who want to start their own business with an excellent platform for studying, investing and financing.
The joint efforts of the entire school and alumni have allowed the program to develop rapidly.
The service session of the current alumni council will expire in November 2015. The alumni council has made great contributions to this CKGSB MBA Alumni Association during their three-year period of service. The council has not only enriched the extracurricular and networking opportunities for alumni, but also provides a center for communication, career development, business entrepreneurship and business cooperation. Thank you all for your hard work!
The new members of the MBA Alumni Council shall be selected from each intake. The selected members shall gather in Beijing for the election of an executive council member and chairperson who is responsible for the three locations of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. The elected body will be the bridge for the alumni community to communicate with the school. All alumni are encouraged to join their local alumni associations to connect with current MBA and alumni from other programs.
We hereby invite all CKGSB MBA alumni to run for office and cast votes under the guidance of the Alumni Association and the program to further build the CKGSB family. The CKGSB MBA program is excited to kick off the selection process and looks forward to hearing from you!
Wishing you health and happiness!
