ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
 

Dr. Li Yong

Dr. Li Yong is currently a partner at IW Ventures, a venture capital company based in New York with a focus on China related investments. He has previously worked at several banks including Lehman Brothers, and a top ranked fixed income hedge fund in New York. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sichuan University.

Wang Jinlong (Jerry) 

Wang Jinlong (Jerry) is the Founder & CEO of Haitou, China’s first overseas investment platform that provides a comprehensive suite of financial products and services to Chinese investors.  Before founding Haitou in 2014, Mr. Wang was an Investment Director at Wesleyan University Investments Office, assisting CIO in managing a more than $600 million endowment fund. Before Wesleyan, Mr. Wang worked at the University of Notre Dame Investment Office, responsible for a portfolio of global alternative investment funds, with total commitments of over $1billion. Mr. Wang began his investment career in venture capital at DFJ Dragon Fund in China in 2006, and is an angel investor in early-stage companies in Silicon Valley, New York, and Boston. Mr. Wang received his bachelor and master degrees in Engineering from Tsinghua University and his MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Huang Xiaofeng

Dr. Huang Xiaofeng is currently the President of BJX, a New York based company focused on cross border investments in agricultural related industries. He has more than twenty years of extensive experience in global commodities markets and has taught at various academic institutions including Beijing University HSBC Business School in Shenzhen. He holds doctoral and MBA degrees in business management.
