CKGSB Dialogue with Sheryl Sandberg: Women in Leadership and the Future of Online Business
In this event co-sponsored by the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) and China CITIC Press, Sheryl Sandberg will be promoting the Chinese release of her best-selling book, “Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead.” With her book, Sandberg has sparked a movement around the world, inspiring women to take greater leadership positions by engaging in an inner-revolution as well as confronting biases they face in the workplace. This book is poised to be impactful and thought-provoking here in China.
Sandberg will also be discussing the future of online business through a dialogue with CKGSB’s professors and some of the top leaders of Chinese technology firms. This discussion will be a great opportunity to discover how leading Internet companies like Facebook and their Chinese counterparts are revolutionizing businesses and societies.

About Sheryl Sandberg
Sheryl Sandberg is chief operating officer at Facebook. Prior to working at Facebook, she was vice president of Global Online Sales and Operations at Google and chief of staff at the United States Treasury Department. She lives in Northern California with her husband and their two children.
