Charlie leads Asia House’s corporate and government relations, as well as the business and policy programme. He has led discussions at Asia House public policy events with leading business figures, government ministers from Asia and the west, and experts on Asia. He helped establish Asia House’s Advisory business, advising multinational corporations, governments and other institutions. With an academic background in political economy, before joining Asia House, Charlie worked in finance‚ managing portfolios for investors from Asia and Europe. He also spent a number of years in China where he worked on capacity building projects with the government.

Tianshu Sun 孙天澍 is a Dean’s Distinguished Chair Professor of Information Systems and Director of the Center for Digital Transformation at CKGSB. He has been tenured at USC Marshall School of Business, held a joint appointment in Computer Science and been recognized with Robert R. Dockson Named Professorship.
Tianshu’s research is focused on digital transformation, digital technology, digital platform, and digital economy. Tianshu’s research conducted in collaboration with leading private and public sector organizations addresses how firms and governments can combine data analytics, field experiment, causal inference, machine learning, and economic models to improve business decisions and industry policies. His current research aims to understand 1) the technology, organizational and strategy factors that drive successful digital transformation of enterprises and local economies, 2) how firms and government can facilitate and regulate the use of personal data in the digital economy; 3) how digital platforms can design data-driven interventions to influence social sharing; 4) how organizations can leverage mobile and internet-of-things to integrate E-commerce and offline retail.
Tianshu has worked closely with a variety of organizations including Facebook, Alibaba and Adobe. Many findings from these studies have been implemented by collaborating organizations.
Tianshu has given over 80 talks at top universities (Harvard, MIT, Wharton, Chicago, CMU, NYU, etc.) and international conferences, and has over a dozen research papers published in top journals such as Management Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, QME and Journal of Health Economics. Tianshu’s research has received 16 Best Paper Awards (ICIS, CIST, WITS, INFORMS), and served as the Associate Editors at ISR, Management Science and MISQ. Tianshu has developed a series of new courses on Digital Transformation, Big Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms and was honored with USC Golden Apple Award (for Best Professors).
Tianshu received his Bachelor in Physics from Nanjing University, and Master in Physics and PhD in Information Systems from University of Maryland.

Biography
Teng Bingsheng is Professor of Strategic Management and Associate Dean for Strategic Research at CKGSB. He formerly served as a tenured Professor of Strategic Management at George Washington University (GWU), where he was a doctoral advisor and lead professor of the departmental doctoral program.
Miguel Martins da Silva is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in supply chain, retail, and automation, primarily in healthcare and omnichannel operations. As Chief Supply Officer at Dr. Max, one of Europe’s largest pharmacy chains, he has led award-winning automation and robotics initiatives. He also runs an executive search firm focused on senior roles in private equity, family offices, and corporates, and offers strategic advisory services globally. Holding an MBA from a top German university, Miguel is committed to lifelong learning and brings a global, innovation-driven mindset to every role.
Alex heads Linklaters’ TMT practice in Hong Kong and China and co-leads the firm’s Global Gaming and Interactive Entertainment Sector team. He advises on technology-focused M&A, strategic alliances, and regulatory matters across APAC, with particular expertise in data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and tech licensing. Recognised as a leading voice on emerging tech and AI regulation in the region, he was shortlisted for the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Asia-Pacific 2025 (Individual Practitioner) for his work on AI deployment and regulatory engagement in China and beyond.
Bo Ji is the Founder of China Start, an inspiring TEDx speaker, a China expert, an advocate of EU-China trade, Author of “5G Changes the World” , and Co-Founder of “Impact 17+1” Club.
Bo is currently the Assistant Dean of Global Executive Education & Chief Representative for Europe at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB), a top business school with more than 18,000 chairman/CEO level alumni. Bo had an over-25-year successful business career in Global Business Development, Innovation, Strategy, Supply Chain Management, M&A, etc. He served as the senior executive at the headquarters of many fortune 500 companies such as Monsanto, Cargill, Pfizer, Wrigley and Mars. After a long corporate life, Bo became a serial entrepreneur and investor. Bo founded the “China Start” to bring global startups and scaleups to China. He created a paradigm shift for global startups to expand to China instead of Silicon Valley.

Anita leads strategic planning, finance, investor relations, legal, and marketing at 01.AI, a unicorn AI startup founded by Dr. Kai-Fu Lee in 2023. Prior to co-founding 01.AI, she was an Operating Partner at Sinovation Ventures, helping build over 25 high-tech unicorns in China, and previously co-founded Taiwan Startup Stadium, mentoring 100+ early-stage tech startups. Her career spans leadership roles at Tudou, Google, and Yahoo! in Greater China, reflecting her belief in technology as a force for advancing society.
Ms. Ira Zaka heads Global Marketing and Communications at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). Established in November 2002, CKGSB is China’s first faculty-governed and independent business school. Today, CKGSB has more than 40+ full-time professors, many of whom held tenured positions at leading business schools like Wharton and Yale, and over 20,000 alumni, more than half of whom are at the CEO or Chairman level and, collectively, lead one fifth of China’s most valuable brands.
Since 2010, Ira has enhanced CKGSB’s brand by organizing global business forums, overseeing public relations and social media, and managing partnerships worldwide. She has also enabled CKGSB’s growth in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
A graduate of Princeton University, Ira has spent over 30 years in China, where she has studied and worked for companies like Amazon and Hogan Lovells, primarily managing public relations and communications efforts.
Ira is fluent in Albanian, Chinese and English.
