CKGSB Americas is based in New York City. It is widely recognized for its success in preparing business leaders for doing business around the world. Its full-time resident faculty and guest lecturers, some of whom previously held department chairs and tenured positions at top business schools in the U.S., generate unique insights that enable organizations to develop new global perspectives and an increased capacity to become truly innovative.
Alan Chen is the Assistant Dean for Global Programs at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Previously, Alan served as the Executive Director of Wharton San Francisco, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the campus facilities. He also supported the Vice Dean on Asia initiatives and engaged the alumni community in the Bay Area. His previous roles include serving as the Senior Director of Business Development for Wharton Executive Education, the Director of the CKGSB, MBA Program, and as Director of CKGSB Americas.
Alan holds a BA degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California (USC), an MS in Negotiations and Conflict Resolutions from Columbia University, and a Global-EMBA offered jointly by Columbia Business School (CBS), London Business School (LBS), and Hong Kong University Business School (HKU). He most recently completed his Doctoral of Education from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
Renee joined CKGSB in June, 2016. With over 10 years of global marketing experience, she is now responsible for the overall marketing and sales, as well as operation and management of the various programs that CKGSB Americas offers. Her bi-cultural background helps with the business development of CKGSB Americas and other initiatives the school takes. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Renee received her B.A. in International Relations from Sun Yat-sen University, and her Dual M.A in International Relations and Communications from Boston University.
