The CKGSB EMBA program prepares established business executives to take their businesses to the next level, while advancing China’s economic transformation and social innovation. The program helps decision-makers hone their leadership skills and elevate their management potential with insights from both Eastern and Western perspectives.
As CKGSB’s first flagship program, the EMBA program has become a preferred choice among business elites in China. To date, over 11,000 executives from various industries in China have completed the program. 95% of CKGSB’s EMBA participants are decision makers and, together, they represent the backbone of China’s economy, particularly the private sector. Our EMBA program has educated some of China’s most successful entrepreneurs, including Eric Shen, Founder of VipShop, and Zhang Lidong, President of ByteDance.
EMBA further integrates research and field studies on cutting-edge topics into its curriculum, such as digitalization, smart manufacturing, green economy, biology and healthcare and technology, in response to senior business leaders’ need to make more informed strategic decisions.
Various overseas modules extend the global reach of the program, benefiting from the school’s partnerships with over 40 top universities and institutions worldwide, such as the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics, NYU Stern School of Business and Harvard Kennedy School.
The EMBA program aims to cultivate socially-minded business leaders who embrace ESG. Since 2021, EMBA students at CKGSB must complete a mandatory Social Innovation and Business for Good Field Course, during which they design ESG into their business strategy with the support of mentors. More than 2,800 EMBA students so far have completed the course and, collectively, conducted 1,064 ESG projects in their companies. Many turned their projects into a new competitive edge for their businesses.
