Hong Zhang is Vice Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in China, where she co-leads initiatives in advocacy and community building to support British businesses operating in China.
She also serves as Vice President of Shell China, leading Strategy, M&A, and New Business Development. With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, she has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, turning around business performance, and delivering complex transactions across both traditional oil and gas and new energy sectors.
Hong is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and a member of the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). She holds an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge.
