Belgian-born he holds a law degree from Madrid´s Complutense University, as well as a degree in Oriental Studies (specializing in China) from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a ExMBA (1995) from IE. He has extensive experience in corporate communication and in the education sector, having served as Director of New Business Development at Images & Words, Director of College of International Studies (CIS) and General Director of Alcalingua (Center for learners of Spanish as a foreign language at Alcalá University, Madrid). He was IE University Communication´s director from 2006 till 2018.
In 2018 he was appointed IE China Center Chairman and Chief of Staff of IE University President. Felix´s passion for cross-cultural study and foreign languages is evidenced by a diploma in Latin and Ancient Greek from UNED, and proficiency level certificates in German, Portuguese, French, Italian and English. He also speaks Russian and Chinese (HSK 5). He is currently studying Japanese.
He recently published the book of poems Grito de amor (Hacia una teoría general de las cavidades, Cuadernos de Laberinto, 20022). He has also published the books Graffiti of the World (Biligual edition in English & Spanish. The book was awarded in September 2020 with I Premio Internacional Cuadernos del Laberinto de Pensamiento); the book of poems “La Geografía del erizo” (March, 2020); the short-Story books “Dibugrafias” (April 2017) & “Cosas y murciélagos” (May, 2010).
