Jens Hildebrandt joined BASF as a Vice President based in Beijing in 2024.
Before joining BASF, Jens spent nearly 17 years with the German Chambers of Commerce network (AHK/DIHK). He held management roles in China, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
From 2018 to 2024, he served as Executive Director and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) in Beijing, where he led the Chamber’s advocacy efforts towards the Chinese and German government and acted as its media spokesperson.
Jens Hildebrandt studied in Leipzig, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He holds a master’s degree in political science & sinology, as well as an MBA.
