Susan and Ted are managing directors and owners of Prescott, a NY-based real estate investment and asset management firm, which has been a family owned and run enterprise for more than 25 years.
BIOGRAPHIES:
Susan Stupin
Susan Stupin is Co-Founder and a Managing Director of The Prescott Group, LLC, a NY-based real estate investment and asset management firm active in North America and internationally. The firm serves both institutional and private investors and invests in a variety of property sectors. Susan serves on Prescott’s Management, Operating, and Investment Committees and is responsible for structuring and raising capital for real estate investments and entities formed or acquired by the firm. Susan has specialized expertise in the strategic planning and recapitalization of corporate real estate as well as in the multi-family, retail, and hotel sectors. Prescott also provides investment banking and advisory services internationally in the real estate sector.
Susan received an AB degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard University. She is a longstanding member and leader of the real estate organization Urban Land Institute and is a member of the following Boards: International House in New York City; The American Farm School in Thessaloniki, Greece; and The Museum of American Finance. Prior to co-founding Prescott, Susan was an executive at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s real estate investment banking group.
Ted Gamble
Ted Gamble is Co-Founder and a Managing Director of The Prescott Group, LLC, and of its two principal operating subsidiaries, Prescott Capital Management, LLC, and Prescott Capital Advisors, LLC. He has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its founding in 1987 and approves all capital commitments by the firm and its subsidiaries. He has wide-ranging experience in the development, acquisition, financing, management, and sale of a broad range of real estate assets and entities, and has extensive expertise in the corporate finance and capital markets issues relating to all aspects of the global real estate industry.
Prior to founding Prescott, he was a Principal of Morgan Stanley & Co., where he performed investment, transaction execution, business development, and management functions as a senior member of the firm’s real estate unit. Ted graduated with an AB degree from Princeton University, a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, and an MBA degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration. He serves as a member of various international industry groups, including the Urban Land Institute, and is also actively involved with a range of civic, educational, and charitable organizations.
