Want to keep up with the latest developments in China’s economy, capital markets, and O2O trends?  Join CKGSB & Fast Campus on Saturday March 19 in Seoul for an enlightening morning on the newest insights around China’s ever-changing economy.  The lecture will feature CKGSB’s Dean’s Distinguished Chair Professor of Finance, Prof. LI Haitao.

The lecture will feature CKGSB’s Dean’s Distinguished Chair Professor of Finance, Prof. LI Haitao, a leading expert on theoretical and empirical asset pricing and hedge funds.  Joining him will be Joo-Young Perry Jeong, a business columnist, CKGSB MBA alumni, Fast Campus M&A Investment and Acquisition Assistant Professor. 

Together, they will deliver a lecture on “Chinese Economy, Capital and O2O Trends”. Joo-Young will also speak on the O2O Service Strategy Analysis CAMP, an O2O educational program delivered by Fast Campus. 

To close off the morning, Associate Director of CKGSB MBA Program Martin Zhu will speak on career development in China as well as MBA education for business leaders who aim to expand their business into China.

Dean’s Distinguished Chair Professor of Finance and Associate Dean for the MBA Program at CKGSB

Previously, he was the Jack D. Sparks Whirlpool Corporation Research Professor in the Finance Department of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also served on the faculty of the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Dr. Li serves on the editorial boards of Management Science (the Department of Finance) and the International Review of Finance. Dr. Li holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Yale University.

Apart from CKGSB, he held senior executive positions in some top Chinese and western business schools. He was educated and has work experience in China, Singapore, Canada and the UK. Prior to joining the education sector, he worked in the finance, logistics and manufacturing industries.

Joo-Young Jeong

Business Columnist

Leveraging his experience in giving lectures and broadcasts, he transformed from an ordinary white-collar to a business investment columnist and China economist. Today, he is an Assistant Professor at Fast Campus on M&A Investment and Acquisitions, while also regularly contributing columns to online and offline media. He is an instructor at various institutions, such as Samsung Economic Research Institute, Ministry of Science, ICT, Future Planning, National Pension, and SK Telecom.
