  • Personalized predictions based upon the traditional Chinese zodiac from Certified Feng Shui Consultant and Coach Susan Chan; and,
  • An exciting performance of the Traditional Lion Dance!

Mary Wadsworth Darby

CKGSB Americas Chief Representative

Mary Wadsworth Darby is Chief Representative of CKGSB Americas, and helps identify CKGSB Americas strategic initiatives and build brand awareness in both North and South America. She works closely with all the CKGSB offices to strengthen cross marketing and program development. Mary also works with CKGSB partnering schools and other key relationships to identify new business and opportunities for collaboration in response to changes in market dynamics and trade and capital flows.

Previously, Mary worked for Morgan Stanley in Firm Management and headed the Asia and China Desks. She moved to HK and headed Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) in Hong Kong and developed the first institutional sales initiative with Chinese financial entities. At Morgan Stanley she also created and ran a series of educational programs for the fixed income division and other departments with a focus on China.

Mary has worked extensively in China and Asia for more than 25 years. She founded Peridot Asia Advisors, a strategic transactions advisory firm. She has substantial experience negotiating market entry strategies over a broad range of industries, as well as with Chinese financial institutions, state-owned enterprises, regulatory authorities and other government entities responsible for regulating and supervising the insurance and banking industries. Her background also includes serving as Executive Director of the America-China Society, a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of US-China relations chaired by former US Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and the late Cyrus Vance.

Mary earned her BA degree from Princeton University. A fluent Mandarin speaker, she also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MIA from Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. She is the Chair of the Hong Kong Association of New York; serves as a Senior Professional Fellow at the Chazen Institute at Columbia Business School; a Trustee of Concord Academy; and was for many years a Trustee of Princeton-in-Asia. She serves as an Independent Director of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC, USA). She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Devin Bigone​ss

Executive Director, Cornell Executive Education

As Executive Director for Executive Education at the Johnson School at Cornell University, Devin is responsible for the design, development and strategy for the growth and success of non-degree executive education offerings including both customized and open-enrollment programs.

Prior to joining Johnson in February 2013, he served as a Project Director for Duke Corporate Education based in New York and previously London as part of the organization’s joint venture with the London School of Economics since 2008. Devin facilitated the design and development of customized executive education programs including client relationship management, program design and deliveries, business development, budget creation and implementation, supplier engagement, and overall project leadership. Devin has also served as a classroom facilitator on global programs focused on leadership, brand management and communications.

With Duke CE, Devin worked globally on programs focused on leadership, innovation, marketing, strategy and development for clients including IBM, Google, Norwegian Shipowner’s Association, Honeywell, HSBC, Ingersoll Rand, and The Home Depot. He has worked in more than a dozen countries including the United States, China, Singapore, India, Germany, Norway, France, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Ecuador and the United Kingdom.

He is particularly interested in the leadership lessons that executives can learn from the sports environment. With this interest, Devin has written numerous “Business Lessons from Sports” articles for Forbes.com and The Globe and Mail newspaper (Canada) with his co-author, Karl Moore from McGill University.

Devin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Communications. Devin lives in Ithaca, New York, with his wife, Celia; son, Cullen; and daughter, Charlotte. He has dual citizenship between the Republic of Ireland and the United States. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer and traveler.

Susan Chan

Certified Feng Shui Consultant and Coach

Susan Chan will be sharing forecasts for the Year of the Fire Rooster 2017 this evening. Susan will also be suggesting Feng Shui tips that you can apply in your workplace and at home to enhance your personal and professional life.

Susan is a Certified Feng Shui Consultant and Coach based in New York City. Using signature techniques, she works with professionals to help them find their purpose, voice and peace of mind using the power of Feng Shui and space energetics.

Her clients have exponentially grown their businesses, created their dream homes, attracted loving relationships and established optimal health for themselves.

There’s nothing you can’t create when you have the energy of your space on your side. Susan is passionate about working with people who want to create greatness in their lives but whose spaces are unknowingly holding them back.

Susan has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Asian Americans and other renown international publications.
