With the unprecedented changes in the current era, enterprises are facing both challenges and opportunities for their development. In this context, having a well-defined strategy is crucial for enterprises. It guides the way a business grows and adapts, allowing it to create enduring value even amidst external uncertainties.

Weilei (Stone) Shi, Professor of Managerial Practice at CKGSB, has invited Hamilton Helmer, Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Strategy Capital, and Chenyi Shi, principal at Strategy Capital, to have a conversation on this topic. Helmer, Author of 7 Powers, has elaborated a strategic analysis framework, designed to help companies build their competitive advantage by defining, categorizing, exploiting and maintaining their competitive advantage, so as to effectively build the moat of the enterprise and continuously create differentiated returns.

    • • How can companies build sustainable strategic advantages in a dynamic environment?
    • • What are the key dimensions that Chinese entrepreneurs should focus on to explore strategic advantages?
    • • How to apply the strategy framework more effectively in the era of digital transformation?
