Similar to most private enterprises in Zhejiang province, Ningbo Lubao Group accumulated growth on the sly. It kept to a professional business strategy. It resisted the temptation to diversify and scale up, and although there were plans to attack the GEM board, in the end, they were resolved in a rational and pragmatic way recognizable among Ningbo entrepreneurs.
After a quiet decade, Lubao began a huge expansion campaign in 2007. Now they are thinking about how to grow domestically while also attempting to enter the North American market, where the bridges sector is already close to saturation. Transitioning from R&D and production to services is their current direction.
