About CKGSB’s ASEAN Business Research Initiative
CKGSB’s ASEAN Business Research Initiative generates research and knowledge related to companies in the ASEAN region. The institute focuses on understanding the business environment, economies, institutions and their management, and developments and innovation in the ASEAN nations. In 2016, CKGSB’s Business Scholars Program (DBA) established a partnership with Singapore Management University to not only support faculty research but also to facilitate student projects. The institute works tirelessly with partners and organizations to generate research papers, case studies, forums and classes on a region that is increasingly playing a vital role in the global economy.
By combining resources and partnerships across industry and academia, the two schools will be able to develop knowledge to gain a wider perspective on the innovations and developments in the Asia Pacific region and its impacts worldwide.
CKGSB Business Scholars Program:
The CKGSB Business Scholars Program aims to develop business thinkers and management scholars to have a global vision. The program provides depth and breadth of business insight, by integrating business management education with in-the-field research capabilities. The school teams up with other globally-renowned institutions—including business schools, government-led organizations and science universities—to leverage the world’s top educational resources for this program.
