CKGSB Partners with CBBC for China Outbound Conference
2018-01-28  - Beijing

The growing tide of Chinese outbound investment is one of the most exciting trends in the financial world today. In particular, some of the biggest names in Chinese business have been drawn to the UK’s open and welcoming environment in recent years, making Britain the number one destination in Europe for Chinese investment.

On October 22nd, CKGSB is pleased to be the official “Knowledge Partner” of the China-Britain Business Council’s China Outbound Conference in Beijing. This year’s event is packed with full line-up of high-level speakers and panel discussions, and will focus on the UK’s investment environment, partnerships with UK companies around the world, and investment prospects worldwide for Chinese investors.

Prominent Chinese investors who have already made successful ventures overseas will talk about the secrets to their success and offer advice to new investors. In addition, three breakout sessions will go into greater depth in key areas of infrastructure, advanced engineering, and consumer & retail. Speakers at the one-day event include Sir Sebastian Wood KCMG, the British Ambassador to China, Tong Daochi, Assistant Minister at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Yue Yi, Executive Vice President at Bank of China.

The China-Britain Business Council has worked with China for 60 years and aims to help UK companies grow and develop their businesses in China. Its board is made up of senior business people from companies with a strong China interest, including Oliver Shiell, Chief Representative of CKGSB Europe.
