Where: CKGSB New York Office

Family Business Dynamics with Mr. Pierre S. duPont. As a member of two large, historic business families, Mr. duPont brings several lifetimes of understanding business-owner issues and family dynamics; the associated trusts and family charters; long-term investment strategies; questions around business control, tax, estate planning and private investments; and projecting family values, principles and culture to future generations. He has been fortunate in life to receive several centuries of business and family heritage through both his mother’s family (a $10 billion retail convenience store and quick-serve restaurant chain) and his father’s family (a $25 billion chemicals and agricultural business).
Following Mr. duPont's presentation, attendees will network and learn about Global Emerging Leaders (GEL), a select leadership development offering for emerging entrepreneurs from American, Chinese and other international family enterprises. GEL prepares you for success as a next-generation leader of your family business by connecting you with peers and fellow business creators in circumstances you would actually face as an executive seeking to foster international and intergenerational business opportunities and the exchange of values and knowledge.
GEL represents a collaborative effort between two of the leading business schools in China and the US: Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. As the only comprehensive cross-cultural, experiential and immersive program for the next generation, GEL is the foundation upon which participants can build the competitive edge they need in the years to come.
Admission to this session is complimentary. Space is limited. Please reserve your spot here.
