Now in its 6th year, the CKGSB China CEO Program brings together over 50 Chairmen and CEOs from China's top corporations for a 6-module global course delivered in partnership with Columbia Business School, IMD, and London Business School.
 
Featuring modules based in Beijing, New York, Lausanne, Sanya, London, and Kunming, the 2011 CKGSB China CEO Program introduces to the world the leading Chinese executives and entrepreneurs who are driving China's economic growth.
 
Executives who qualify for the course lead China's fastest rising private and public corporations with annual revenues of US$100 million or more, and are recognized leaders in their respective industries.  BusinessWeek calls the program an "ultra-exclusive CEO program" that has attracted "a veritable who's who of Chinese business."
 
Course participants include established veterans such as Jack Ma of Alibaba, Niu Gensheng of Mengniu Dairy, and Jin Zhiguo of Tsingtao Beer, as well as rising stars such as Dennis Wang of Huayi Brothers Media, Peng Xiaofeng of LDK Solar, and Ji Qi who has just completed his third major NASDAQ listing (Ctrip, Home Inns, China Lodging Group).
 
Many participant executives head companies not yet known in the West, including Yu Liang of property developer Vanke, Yu Mingfang of retailer Belle International, and Guo Guangchang of pharmaceutical conglomerate Fosun International. These firms boast market caps of US$ 13 billion, US$10 billion, and US$5 billion, respectively. Other executives in the program lead China's largest private and family-owned firms, and many are actively considering public listings.
 
During this unique 6-module course, the Chinese executives gain global exposure and a global perspective on business and management from professors at the world's best b-schools, debating issues such as globalization, the macro-economic outlook, the rise of China, and leadership in a globalized world.  They also come together to learn from each other how best to confront challenges faced at home in the high growth China market, while developing a network of personal relationships that extend beyond the classroom.
